Daily oral hygiene and prevention
Ozonated dental oil as the centerpiece of your oral routine: brushing, oil pulling, gums, post-surgery care and more.
Ozosana Ozone Dental Oil is a versatile product that has gained popularity for its many applications, both in daily oral hygiene and in managing specific conditions. Its value lies in the antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and healing properties of the ozone incorporated into selected vegetable oils.
1. Daily oral hygiene and prevention
As a substitute or complement to toothpaste: you can use it for daily brushing, on its own or together with your usual toothpaste. Because it is oily, it penetrates the spaces between teeth and hard-to-reach areas, controlling biofilm (bacterial plaque).
Oil pulling (oil swishing): this consists of holding the oil in your mouth and moving it between your teeth for 10–20 minutes. It is an ancient technique from Ayurvedic medicine that ozonated oil enhances, helping to reduce the bacterial load and improve gum health.
Support in cavity prevention: it helps control the bacteria responsible for cavities, especially the anaerobic ones that thrive where oxygen does not reach.
2. Gums and soft tissues
Gingivitis: reduces inflammation and bleeding when brushing. Its antiseptic action works on the bacteria associated with periodontal disease.
Canker sores and mouth ulcers: supports the healing of ulcers and relieves local discomfort.
Mucositis: useful for calming inflammation of the mucosa, common in people who wear removable dentures.
3. Post-surgical care
Applied to the area, it supports recovery after extractions and minor oral procedures. Always follow your dentist's instructions: ozonated oil is a complement, not a replacement for professional follow-up.
4. Other uses
- Tooth sensitivity: helps calm sensitivity to cold or heat.
- Halitosis: fights the anaerobic bacteria that produce bad-breath gases.
- Orthodontics: makes hygiene easier for people who wear braces or aligners, where plaque accumulates more easily.
General directions for use
Brushing: a few drops on the brush and brush as usual. Tip: since it is oil, it can leave the bristles a little greasy — wash the brush with hot water after each use.
Direct application: one drop on the specific area (inflamed gum, sore) with a clean finger or a cotton swab.
Oil pulling: hold a teaspoon in your mouth, move it around for 10–20 minutes and spit it out. Do not swallow. Start with 5 minutes the first few days and increase gradually.
Important
Dental oil is an excellent complement, but it does not replace regular dental visits or professional cleanings to remove tartar. If you have an active periodontal condition, consult your dentist before starting a new routine.
